Bold Botanic.

I found this beautiful sheath dress when I was on vacation in Geneva and instantly fell in love with its bold botanic print. Such a fun twist on a classic style.

A sheath dress typically has a high neckline with a simple, form fitting cut making the waist a major focal point. When it comes to hemlines I find the most flattering lengths are an inch above or below the knee. So avoid anything too long or too short.

Some fashion experts suggest that a sheath should only be worn by women with perfect figures, but I actually believe the reverse to be true. A figure hugging silhouette with a defined waist tends to be a great choice for women with a little more curve, like myself, since it emphasizes an hourglass shape, promoting a very feminine look. So whether you're a size 2 or a size 22, a sheath dress may just be the most flattering look, provided it fits properly ;)

Knowing how to wear a sheath dress can vary depending on season and occasion - I love this dress for cocktail parties and formal events. But rest assured this is a timeless and versatile style and is the perfect base for working a variety of looks. The sheath dress can also stand alone as a statement piece, or be complemented by some simple accessories like earrings and a great bracelet – it doesn’t really need much. Whether it’s for work or play, a sheath dress can be dressed up or down and still look all sorts of stylish.
